For the price I was surprised at how many features this thing has. I have a built-in switching USB port, so I plugged it into that and it automatically started recording whenever my car was on. The video quality was amazing...however...the timing was iffy. In full HD resolution, I had issues with the video slowing down in regular intervals. The video file sizes are huge too, on the order of 400 MB for roughly 5 minutes of video, but I got a 32GB card in anticipation of this. I have yet to assess lower quality settings to see if the slowing down issue goes away (or to determine if I feel like the slowing down is a deal-killer), but in general this little camera is a great buy for someone who wants a dash-cam in their vehicle. i took a chance on this camera, both based on the reviews and the fact that i have other chinese security cameras that work well. first let me say, all of these chinese cameras have horrible directions. they are often wrong and hard to read, so you basically have to figure it out yourself. however, after i got the camera set up, the video is pretty good. it gets a little choppy at times but i like the camera and may buy another. you can also set the mode to be a camera, up to 15 mega pixels and it will take still photos.
